POULSBOHEMIJA Every once in a while something exciting in Philately Appears. Having seen these issues on my travels across the 'cybernet', I had to have them. So I wrote to the issuer in PoulsBohemia USA and managed to aquire quite a few of them. These Zeppelin Issues struck my eye, because they were so well designed. After aquiring some issues for my special pages album, I descided to catalogue them. I have broken them into three types of issue to begin with; Aviation, Zeppelin and the handsome Prince Issues that I do not show here yet. |

These
local postage stamps are printed on creamy US stamp paper and very
well perforated. And of course, Zeppelins did actually fly over Vilnius,
Riga, Helsinki, and Tallin. So any serious Zeppelin collector should
be well satisfied.Commemorating these flights in my opinion makes
these very collectable. What caught my eye originally was the beautiful
Wright Brothers Cover that was cancelled by US Post. This is a superb
example. I aquired from the designer and printer many of these fabulous
issues, and he even signed them.
