1982
First printed imperforate on sheets of self adhesive
paper- one of the earliest self-adhesive stamps. Also printed on sheets
that were gummed and roulette perforated. Between 1982 and 1984, the
stamps were used to carry the club mail to members of the Purakanui
Royal Yacht Club. It was used between 1982 and 1984 on mail in the
suburbs of Wakari, Helensburgh, Brockville, North East Valley, St
Clair, Halfway Bush, Maori Hill, and Opoho. Also the townships of
Oamaru, Alexandra, Mosgiel, Port Chalmers, Puraukanui, Broad Bay,
Long Beach and Murdering Bay.

Personal issue stamps were a Wine Bird design used
for all wines and had the One Bottle value Personel Issue mark. They
were printed black, gummed and perforated.

perforated. The blue and green types are known only from records-
no examples exist. The red type has survived.

These stamps were black, labeled ADV ISSUE. The ADV
was inserted onto the revenue plates so that these are a modified
Revenue issue. All were gummed and over half were roulette perforated.
There were two designs only- Charles and Diana; and The Wine Bird.
